When an accident occurs on a ship covered, the procedure of applying for P&I compensation services as follows:

1. The Member(s) shall report this accident in time. The shipowners should notify “Asia Faith” in time to report the accident and obtain the help of “Asia Faith” to ensure that “Asia Faith” can effectively investigate the scene as soon as possible.

2. The Member(s) shall collect the claim documents. At the time of reporting, “Asia Faith” will inform the Member(s) of which claims information should be prepared, such as the Sea Protest, the fee list, the disability certificate, the medical treat fees list, and so on.

3. The Member(s) shall submit the formal claim letter for compensation. The claimant shall fill in the claim form, submit the claim application and claim letters.

4. “Asia Faith” will review the claims. When receives the application and information submitted by the claimant, “Asia Faith” will verify the loss, calculate the compensation amount, and confirm the authenticity and completeness of the claim data.

5. Finally the Member(s) receive the compensation. After the audit of “Asia Faith”, the accident will be confirmed if the causes is in the scope of the coverage, “Asia Faith” will pay and the claimant will receive the compensation. If the accident is not an accident within the scope of the coverage, or if the Member(s) has any breaches of the warranties of guarantor, “Asia Faith” may refuse to pay and issue a notice of refusal.
